Responsibilities :
- Greet all customers when entering and exiting the store
- Assist customers with the loading of their vehicle
- Maintain a sufficient quantity of carts
- Maintain a clean working environment and personal workspace
- Engage in conversation with the customer to add a personal touch to each and every interaction.
- End every customer interaction by saying "Thank you"
- Ability to be organized, multi-task and maintain all aspects of a support role.
- Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth
- Ability to work independently and with the team
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers and other employees
- Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement while contributing to a positive team atmosphere
- Exercise judgment and tact while working with customers or co workers
- Strong oral / written communication and reading skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization
- Work assigned schedules which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Assist in all other duties as assigned by the Leadership Team and Cashier Leads

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and or 1-3 months of cashiering experiencePhysical Requirements / Lifting Requirements :
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push / pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
