Traffic Control Supervisor

Asa TCSyouwill work in collaboration withtheFacility Manager Project Managersandlocal MOT teamto support MOTs core values and mission to protect our customers people business and TCS reviews and executes temporary traffic control plans and / or standards to ensure work zones are properly installed and maintainedalong with coordinatingand communicatingwith customers to ensure the safety of all workers.

• Set up and maintain channelizingdevices and other traffic controlequipmentaccording to Federal State and / or Local temporary traffic control guidelines and temporary traffic control plans for complex work zonesto ensure the safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through project locations and work zones.
• Coordinateand communicate workactivityfor onsite MOT personnel including protectors (flaggers) TMA drivers and pilot car operators providing breaks and overall management of work zoneoperations.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers while always maintaining a professional approach to meeting customers expectations.
• Drive companyvehiclesto transport equipment trailers and team members to and from work sitesin asafeefficientandtimely manner. May alsobe required topull lightweight trailered equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and practices and notify theirsupervisorof any potential safety issues or incidents.
• Provide on-the-job training coaching and mentoring toprotectors(flaggers)and obtainall MOT-required training withinthetime frame established bythe Facility Manager.
• Complete all required project documentation including pre-job safetybriefings (PJSB) daily ticket control logs traffic control inspections vehicle inspections etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

The employee must be able to successfully manage the physical demands of this position which include the following :

If necessary in the field stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee lifts push pulls or carries objects.

Competitive Pay :  $18.00-19.00 per hour based on experience overtime opportunities guaranteed pay increase within the first year.

Rapid Advancement :  Potential opportunities to progress to Senior Protector in just 4 months with further growth potential to Lead Protector Field Supervisor or Manager roles.
