About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : 2 years of PACU experience required

License : Registered Nurse License

Certifications : BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

Must be able to work preoperative, phase 1, and phase 2 recovery.

Experience with pediatric patients is required.

Description :

This position will require flexibility in scheduling.

There is a maximum of 10 approved request time off (RTO) days for the duration of the contract.

RTO will not be approved during specific time periods outlined in the guidelines.

Experience with Epic charting system is required.

First-time travelers are welcome, provided they meet experience requirements.

The role does not require weekend shifts or on-call duties.

Staffing needs may result in changes to floating requirements.

Daily patient census ranges from 15-20.

Candidates should have experience in various procedures, including but not limited to general surgery, outpatient care, and pediatric recovery.

Candidates must demonstrate skills in pre-operative assessment, medication reconciliation, and pain management.

Successful candidates will work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

This role involves working with a diverse patient population across various age groups, including adolescents and geriatrics.

A thorough understanding of special procedures and equipment relevant to the PACU is necessary.
