We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead and oversee the technology infrastructure and operations within our organization. Based in Live Oak, Texas, this role requires a visionary leader who can align IT strategies with business objectives while managing daily operations and long-term initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven ability to drive innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic IT plans that align with organizational goals and foster long-term growth.
- Lead and mentor teams responsible for infrastructure, service desk operations, and cloud systems.
- Optimize daily IT operations across multiple locations, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of systems.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate on cross-functional IT projects, integrating enterprise tools, collaboration systems, and jobsite technologies.
- Drive the adoption of modernized and automated processes to enhance IT operations.
- Manage risk and security protocols, including disaster recovery planning and backup systems.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, overseeing contracts and budgets for infrastructure-related services.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards in partnership with the Information Security team.
- Partner with IT project managers to deliver infrastructure projects on schedule and aligned with business priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- Proven ability to manage IT infrastructure and operations within industries such as construction, engineering, or field services.
- Expertise in cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, virtualization, networking, and endpoint management.
- Strong knowledge of technologies including backup systems, Cisco networking, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated success in leading IT service desk operations and driving strategic IT initiatives.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, vendor contracts, and technology investments.
