None Communication, Customer Service, computer Skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. BLS certification Non Invasive Patient CareAssists in patient admission, discharge, and transfer. Measures, collects, and records patient data (., weight, vital signs) and reports symptoms, reactions, and changes in patients' condition to the Registered Nurse.Assists patients with activities of daily living.Retrieves medications from the pneumatic tube system and / or pharmacy and delivers the medications to the nurse and / or place medications in a secure location as determined by the nurse manager Collaboration & PartnershipAssists physicians with examination, treatments, and special tests. Collects patient specimens and transports specimens to the lab.Performs procedures consistent with standards set forth by their school of nursing and level of nursing education completed under the direction of a Registered Nurse.Utilizes equipment safely for patient care as directed by a Registered Nurse. QualityAdheres to standards of nursing and the policies and procedures set forth by the institution in an effort to enhance the quality and efficiency of hospital nursing services.Utilizes all equipment, supplies, and resources in a prudent and efficient manner.Observes and adheres to quality standards established by the department. Participates in continuous quality improvement programs. Other Duties As AssignedPerforms other duties as assigned or requested.
