Production Supervisor

Brunsell Lumber is a locally owned and operated building material supplier in Madison since 1938. Brunsell is seeking a Production Supervisor in its Millwork production facility in Madison. The Millwork Division produces the high-quality custom Millwork that Brunsell is known for. Products include Mouldings, cabinets, stair parts, doors, mantels, wood tops and much, much more. Responsibilities :

• Inventory Management; including hardwood lumber, plywood, stair pairs, hardware, etc.
• Set production schedule and communicate lead times to sales staff.
• Supervise production staff of 8 individuals (4) molder and (4) bench production workers.
• Set, monitor, and enforce a high quality of craftsmanship on every order.
• Implement and enforce safe operating practices for all machines and equipment.
• Visit jobs sites for measurement verification and project implementation.
• Coordinate with shipping department to ensure timely deliveries of completed projects.
• May be required to assist in production.
• Implement a preventive maintenance schedule for machines
