Our client board of directors is seeking a CEO to lead their specialized feed ingredients and commodities organization. This is a great opportunity and company that takes pride in delivering the highest quality, certified products, with high level of service to producers across a 15-state region. With eyes on growth and new opportunities, this is a unique CEO role, that combines managing the entire existing business platform, and creating / bouncing option for growth past the BOD! Out the box creative business minds in the Livestock, Pet and Human ingredients side are who we want!

Candidates considered for this position should possess upper management or C-level success in a multi-location or multi-platform organization, with preference given to those with this experience in the grain & feed industry. We are seeking a leader to live within easy commute to company headquarters, and become an Active Face / Brand in the community on behalf of this client!

Primary Responsibilities

• Partner with the Board of Directors to establish strategic direction and expectations, then create the organizational goals and system of accountability to exceed those expectations.
• Provides effective communication at all levels throughout the organization including board guidance, Sales and Operational teams, staff employees, business partnerships, community, and any related government or regulatory agencies.
• Relate to customers with a high level of integrity and trust.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-performing people.
