Overview
FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a nationally recognized health care system located in central North Carolina. Comprised of four hospitals (Moore, Hoke, Richmond, and Montgomery) with more than 600 beds, the system also offers leading-edge heart care in the Reid Heart Center, the area's only dedicated heart and vascular center. Our growing health system has more than 5,400 employees serving in more than 75 locations throughout a 15-county service area. In addition, the system provides home health and hospice services, emergency care, and medical transportation. FirstHealth of the Carolinas has over 50 primary care, specialty care, convenient care and dental clinics located throughout our service area.
Within our 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, we perform 3500 caths per year with 1000 interventions and 3000 EP procedures with a mix of devices and ablation procedures (simple to complex). In addition, we perform 100 TAVRs and 150 Watchman per year. Starting by the beginning of 2026, we will begin performing TEER's as well.

Responsibilities
Will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the Cath Lab and EP Lab at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Will ensure that staffing needs are routinely met, based on established factors. Staffing variances are addressed promptly.
Will participates in hospital admission system to coordinate requirements for patient care with available
resources.
Will consistently work collaboratively with Admissions and Patient Placement Coordinators in patient admissions and bed placement.
Responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance staff development with demonstrated clinical improvements.
Will complete interview process involving staff and others, as appropriate, for hiring. Follows FHC policy and procedure for terminations.
Communicates in a timely manner with Director on all staffing
changes.
Performs all staff performance evaluations by designated due date, with no retroactive salary adjustments. s visible, accessible, and consistently assesses staff morale.
Takes actions as appropriate to promote positive morale. Develops / implements / evaluates a database performance improvement, risk management, customer and staff relations program that is integrated with Service Line and meets established standards.
Prepares department budget to be presented to Director. Monitors / controls departmental budget and demonstrates improved utilization of resources. Stays current in all regulatory requirements and assures compliance
within service area.
Qualifications
Must either be a Radiologic Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, Paramedic or a RN. Associates degree is required.
Must have either RTR, RRT, Paramedic or RN License in North Carolina or Multistate license, and / or national registry. Specialty certification in CVT required. Must have 3 years of Cardiac Cath or EP Lab experience. One year of leadership experience required. BLS and ACLS required.
