Job Title : Locum Tenens Cardiology Electrophysiologist

Estimated Weekly Salary : $12,190 - $13,060

Assignment Type : Locum tenens

Start Date : December 29, 2025

End Date : March 30, 2026 (potential for ongoing coverage)

Shift : Day shifts, 5x8-hour (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, 1-hour lunch)

Practice Setting : Hospital-based Cath Lab & in-office cardiology clinic

Patient Population : Adult patients

Average Clinic Volume : 20-22 patients / day

EP Cases : 4-6 daily, plus 3-4 hospital consults

EMR : Cerner

Hospital Size : 268 beds

Cardiology Electrophysiologist Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology with Electrophysiology subspecialty

Active Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain for Arizona cardiology jobs)

DEA registration for Arizona

ACLS certification

Minimum 1 year of recent cardiac electrophysiology experience

Proven proficiency in ablations (minimum 100 EP cases in past 2 years, focus on ablations)

Ability to perform moderate sedation independently

Experience with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system

Skilled in performing and interpreting TEEs

COVID-19 and Flu vaccination (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive cardiac electrophysiology care, diagnosing and managing heart rhythm disorders

Perform ablations and advanced EP procedures, emphasizing left-sided ablations

Conduct 3-4 daily hospital consults and manage 4-6 EP cases per day in the Cath Lab

See 20-22 adult patients daily in the cardiology clinic

Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Perform and interpret TEEs; administer moderate sedation as required

Complete orientation and all required training prior to assignment start
