Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to work remotely from anywhere in Texas on a long term assignment with our Austin Texas client. This position will work on multiple projects at the same time that support the clients mission of improving outcomes for Texas students. This position performs advanced senior-level business analysis work and will serve as the conduit between the program / customer community and the software development team This position may support more than one project or be assigned to special projects at any time and be involved at some level throughout the entire software development life cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements including requirements for enhancements post-implementation.

Requirements : Yrs Experience

5 Deriving requirements from interviews with customers and creating system requirements documents

5 System Analysis and Design (including mockups and / or wireframes)

5 Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

5 Business Process Reengineering

4 Development of user stories and use cases

Preferred

3 Strong communication organization and facilitation skills

2 Business Process Development

2 Experience with Azure DevOps or Modern Requirements

1 Experience with Atlassian Jira

1 Prior experience or familiarity with TEA applications and programs

1 Prior employment at a Texas public school district
