Industrial Service Technician

Tri-State Overhead Crane continues to grow our customer base we are on the lookout for a strong service technicians to be part of our team! We are a crane and material handling equipment fabrication and service company. We've been independently owned c ompany for over 60+ years, based in the Midwest, with customers from coast to coast. This role will be based out of our Kansas C ity location.

Here's a summary of what the Service Technician will handle :

The Service Technician will run electrical and mechanical diagnostics and provide required repairs. They are responsible for performing comprehensive quality inspections, required repairs, and preventative maintenance services on overhead cranes, hoists, and associated parts. They will spend a majority of their time on clients' sites providing service, so they also act as representatives of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists and drives.
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Proper use of a man lift during service.
• Evaluate and communicate with customers recommendations requiring repairs.
• Communicate with management and sales as to what further needs the customer could have.
• Maintains time tracking per job and reports any product concerns or inconsistencies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
