Accounting Manager

About the Role

As Accounting Manager you will manage day-to-day accounting operations maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include :

Managing monthly and quarterly closings and internal reporting

Reviewing and approving reconciliations journal entries and financial reports

Supporting regulatory filings including the Call Report

Monitoring and managing fixed assets prepaid schedules and accounts payable

Support budgeting forecasting and strategic financial analysis

Maintaining internal controls and supporting audit and exam preparation

Providing training and support to accounting staff

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (required)

35 years of accounting experience preferably in banking

Knowledge of financial reporting reconciliations and bank operations

Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office

Strong communication problem-solving and analytical skills

Proven ability to train lead and develop staff
