Under the supervision of the Provost, the Director of Title IX provides leadership of compliance administration for Title IX and safety compliance for state and federal regulations at MBI for all students, staff and faculty on each of our three campuses.

- Responsible for coordinating compliance with MBI Title IX policy.
- Supervise the Deputy Title IX and Compliance Coordinator and other Compliance office personnel
- Oversee Title IX and other federal and state mandates to maintain compliance with these laws.
- Responsible for review and communicate procedures for compliance with Youth related policies, while recommending revisions to current policy based on national trends.
- Responsible for overseeing the response to reports of sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking in a timely manner.
- Serve as the secondary response person for victims of sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking in the MBI campus communities, and maintaining appropriate related records.
- Lead and supervise ongoing strategic planning, and the associated creation and dissemination (at times through on-site training) of education and prevention efforts for MBI faculty, staff, and students about issues related to youth protection, safety, sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking, including response training.
- Determine patterns, remedial measures, and other needs as determined by federal laws and guidance.
- Strategically plan for the acquisition of and process relevant data in order to prepare reports and / or make presentations or provide training related to the areas of responsibility.
- Provide ongoing (minimally annual) updates to MBI processes, procedures, and policies (e.g., Title IX protocol); maintain external continuing education as required by applicable law and best practices in the areas of responsibility.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree with an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience, including 5 years’ experience in Title IX compliance or related fields.Demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage sensitive and confidential investigations, maintain neutrality, and ensure procedural fairness.Proficiency in policy development, training delivery, and compliance reporting.Ability to develop and maintain knowledge of relevant laws such as Title IX, Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (Campus Save) Act, the Clery Act, the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), Higher Education Act (HEA), Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines, Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended (ADAA) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.Performs other duties as assigned.Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship.Preferred Requirements
Experience working in higher education, K–12, or public sector environments.Specialized training or certification in Title IX compliance, civil rights law, or related areas.Skilled in crafting communications that effectively convey Title IX case information to both internal and external consistencies.Work Environment / Conditions
