Licensed as the 171-bed sub-acute skilled nursing facility of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento Bruceville Terrace offers care for the elderly as well as those requiring extended recoveries.Bruceville Terrace provides skilled nursing rehabilitative and complex medical services to our patients and residents using an interdisciplinary team approach. Over half of the facility is dedicated to skilled nursing / convalescent care while the remaining beds are committed to meet the medical and rehabilitative needs of the short-term patient after a stay at the acute care hospital. • Responsibilities
• Job Summary :

The incumbent provides skilled technical nursing care or service to patients and residents according to a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse and in accordance with current federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may be required by nursing management. Responsible for accurately and effectively completing all other duties as assigned. 100% of the incumbents time will be spent at Bruceville Terrace.

• Qualifications
• Minimum Requirements :
• 1 year of SNF / LTC care of the aged acutely ill chronically ill and patients in need of restorative care.
• Knowledge in the principles of nursing care within the LVN scope of practice.
• Ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing in the English language.
• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• BLS certified by the American Heart Association.
• Pay Range

$47.79 - $47.79 / hour
