You will engage with families and patients, creating a healing environment while adhering to safety standards and collaborating with your healthcare team. Minimum Training and Education : We prefer candidates with a Bachelor of Nursing degree. If you hold an Associate or Diploma nursing degree and were hired on or after July 1, 2013, you must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and earn your BSN within four years of your hire date. A minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse is required. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations : You must possess a valid registered nurse license from the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required, obtained through either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross. Physical Requirements : This role entails various physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. This position requires excellent visual acuity, hearing ability, and the capacity to perform fine motor skills continuously.
