Job Description

Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Designer / Modeler to join our engineering team in a full-time, onsite role. This position plays a key role in supporting product design and development efforts through accurate 3D modeling and drafting. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator with hands-on experience in Creo and a passion for precision and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo software.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop accurate designs that meet project specifications.
Manage and maintain data using PDM / Windchill systems.
Perform basic tolerance stack-up analyses to support robust design decisions.
Apply consistent documentation and drafting standards to ensure clear communication across teams.
Follow internal modeling best practices and contribute to improving design efficiency.

Qualifications Requisition :

Proficiency with Creo for modeling and drafting.

Experience using PDM / Windchill for data management.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Strong collaboration skills with engineers and cross-functional teams.

Ability to calculate basic tolerance stack-ups.

Qualifications Preferred :

Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standards.

Experience annotating models directly within Creo.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Commitment to following and improving modeling best practices.

Additional Notes :

This is a 1st shift, onsite-only position.

Local candidates only will be considered.

Candidates must be prepared to wear metatarsal safety boots starting on their first day.
