Job Description

ASRC Federal Technology Solutions, LLC is hiring a cleared Financial Management Analyst to join their team in El Paso, TX. Responsibilities include consolidating program budgets, drafting justifications for funding requests, and managing budget special projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial execution and compliance with regulations. If you're detail-oriented and skilled in financial management, this opportunity may be for you.

The selected candidate's responsibilities will include the following :

  • Assist in consolidating the unit’s program budget (to include the Financial Plan and detailed monthly phasing)
  • Assist in the review and drafting of statements for justifying funding requests, to include reviewing budget submissions for compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Support development of annual spend plan based on Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) data; monitor spend plan execution, deviations, reprogramming and / reallocations
  • Prepare and edit narrative justification for funding needs and unit’s unfunded requirements (UFRs)
  • Manages and writes input for budget special projects to include Joint Planning / Working Groups
  • Perform budget execution tasks to include processing all financial documents in a timely manner to meet the needs of JTF-N mission program
  • Ensure execution data is in line with the unit’s spend plan; reconcile execution data with Status of Funds (SOF), Open Document List (ODL) and standard transaction history reports
  • Prepare and update SOF daily and the unit’s ledger weekly to track execution of unit’s funds
  • Prepare and conduct tasks required for reprogramming and adjustments of funding to cover shortfalls and unanticipated changes to ensure execution rate of unit’s funds
  • Validate and apply the appropriate / correct Line of Accounting (LOA) for all DTS Travel documents (Authorizations and Vouchers) with a 5% or less error rate.
  • Ensure the proper processing (charged to the proper fiscal year, appropriation, cost account and line item) for all DTS Travel documents for current and prior fiscal years proper spend rates, realignments required, budgetary suspense and other pertinent information regarding the unit’s Program
  • Independently perform tasks involving budget execution by compiling resource data from various financial management reports from DTS and the CitiBank Government Travel Charge Cards (GTCC) vendor
  • Gather, extract, and compile data for use in recurring and nonrecurring reports and provides status updates for DTS travel funds and GTCC accounts
  • Review DTS and GTCC transactions for compliance with Joint Travel Regulations and all related policies / procedures

Requirements

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements :

  • This is an onsite financial management / budget technician position located in El Paso, TX
  • Secret clearance required
  • An advanced intelligence related or professional / scientific degree is desired.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • 2 years experience using DEAMS
  • Proficient at using the Defense Travel System
  • Proficient using and Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
