Real Estate Capital Markets Litigation Associate Attorney

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York , in good standing
• 3-4 years  of substantive  commercial litigation  experience
• Experience with  commercial foreclosure litigation  and  creditor's rights strongly preferred
• Experience with  landlord-tenant disputes  and other  real estate litigation  matters will also be  considered
• Background in  motion practice ,  discovery  (including  e-discovery ), and  drafting motions  with proper New York citation formatting
• Courtroom experience preferred  but not required
• Prior experience at a  large regional ,  national , or  international law firm  is  strongly preferred
• Soft Skills : Strong legal research and writing ability, excellent communication and analytical skills, organizational efficiency, and the ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced practice
