POSITION SUMMARY
Provide individual, group and family psychotherapy; provides clinical supervision; conducts clinical evaluations and other clinical and case management functions as assigned. Writes appropriate clinical documents and effectively presents clinical information verbally. Appropriately support and implement Center's Treatment Philosophy of Dignity, Respect and Understanding of our patients.

EDUCATION / TRAINING EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree or Doctorate or the equivalent
- Four to ten years related experience and / or training
- Three years post master's clinical experience
- Three years experience / training in child / adolescent psychiatric setting
- Bilingual (Spanish) recommended
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
Current Texas license required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, etc.)Must be fully licensed or fully licensed by 01 / 01 / 2026SAMACPR / First Aid; preferredTHE ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
Provide competent clinical services to individual, families, as assigned, in the areas of individual psychotherapy, family psychotherapy and parent training; group psychotherapy, psycho-educational instruction; psychosocial assessment; and discharge planning in the Southside PHP programDocument services providedAvailability to provide services at Main campus in Inpatient and / or Outpatient during times when PHP is closed.Schedules and completes three quarterly clinical / administrative supervision sessions annually prior to the quarter in which performance evaluation is dueCommunicate and coordinate effectively with, and is responsive to, patients and families, medical staff, internal and external customersProvide clinical documentation of service that meets Center standards for quality and timelinessPractice within the ethical standards of the Center and state licensing boardResponsible for PHP milieu managementScreen, triage, assess and manage patients in crisisInitiate and coordinate transfer to psychiatric inpatient bed
