Join our innovative agricultural technology team as a Junior Data Engineer, where you'll begin your journey in our DataOps environment. Working alongside experienced data engineers, data scientists, and analytics experts, you'll learn to tackle data integration challenges and contribute to the future of agricultural technology. This entry-level position offers excellent mentorship opportunities and hands-on experience with modern data technologies while making a meaningful impact on global food security and sustainability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines, learning to implement ETL / ELT processes under guidance from senior team members.
  • Support the team in data quality monitoring and basic troubleshooting of data integration processes.
  • Help maintain documentation for data workflows and contribute to improving data processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement and test basic data transformations and aggregations.
  • Learn and apply best practices in data security and governance while working with agricultural datasets.
  • The Profile

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience (internships included).
  • Basic programming skills in Python.
  • Fundamental understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Basic understanding of ETL concepts.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
