Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice (Community Health)

MHC Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice (FNP) to join the Integrated Care Team at the MHC Primary Care Health Center, located in Tucson, AZ.

The Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice (FNP) promotes and maintains patients' health by providing medical services to all age groups to the extent which licensed and / or certified. The FNP uses independent judgment in carrying out daily job responsibilities. The position will be supervised by the Chief Medical Officer. MHC Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC), with 16 sites in Tucson and Pima County. Our mission is to improve our Community by providing exceptional, whole-person healthcare.

The following qualifications are required :

• Family Nurse Practitioner master's degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice, with active license to practice in Arizona required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Master's degree (MSN) from an accredited school of nursing, combined with at least 1 year of recent Primary Care or Family Practice experience.
• Candidate without the MSN, but whose Nurse Practitioner certification is current and was grandfathered-in prior to the Master's degree becoming a requirement for the credential will be considered if they also have required hands-on experience.
