Position Summary :
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational, financial, administrative, and development functions of a well Known Academy. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the COO works closely with the Head of School but operates independently in executing strategic plans and managing all non-academic operations.
Summary of Role and Key Responsibilities :
The position encompasses several critical areas, primarily focusing on Strategic Operations & Planning, Financial Management, Facilities & Campus Operations, Human Resources & Compliance, Technology & Infrastructure, Board Relations & Institutional Reporting, and Development & Fundraising.
Qualifications : Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred), with 7-10+ years of leadership experience in operations or finance, ideally within independent schools or similar organizations. Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in fundraising are essential.
