Job Summary :

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team at a busy facility. The ideal candidate will have experience handling oversized freight, including 8-foot pallets, and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, and transport 8-foot pallets and various freight within the facility

Secure cargo to prevent damage during movement and storage

Assist in staging, stacking, and organizing freight for outbound and inbound distribution

Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns

Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times

Communicate and coordinate with warehouse personnel and truck drivers to maintain efficient workflow

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Requirements :

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, or logistics environments

Ability to manage and maneuver oversized loads, including 8-foot pallets

Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and varying weather conditions

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform labor-intensive tasks

Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience working in intermodal yards, ports, or freight handling facilities

Knowledge of container loading / unloading protocols and procedures
