We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to manage and coordinate facility maintenance and service operations across our Ambulatory Services, Clinics, Hospitals, and Research units. This vital role ensures the seamless functioning of our healthcare environments, supporting excellence in patient care, research, and clinical services within Duke.

Hours - The manager position is primarily first shift Monday -Friday but will be expected to work after-hours and weekends as necessary. Answering phone calls and providing support after hours, weekends and holidays is required.

Anticipated Pay Range - Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $68,970.00 to USD $127,008.00. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate 's work experience, education / training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES

Hospital Facilities experience preferred.

Must have knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, DFS, OSHA, State and Local Codes, and NFPA standards.

3 years of Supervisory experience over a team is required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education / Training - Generally, requires a BA / BS degree in a related field or equivalent. Hospital Facilities experience will be considered in lieu of a BA / BS Degree.

Experience - Position requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience of which 3 years must be in a leadership role.

• Good communication and leadership skills required. Supervisory skills over a team are required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle customer complaints respectfully
• Communicates and follows up with customers on requests and work performed by E&O.
• Goes the extra mile to engage with the customer.
