What We’re Looking For :

Are you a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist ready to empower students and schools? Here's what you’ll need to join our team :

  • Education : Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Licensure : Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • Certification : ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Language Proficiency : Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Your Role :

As a Speech-Language Pathologist , you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational settings. Here’s how you’ll contribute :

  • Evaluate Needs : Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
  • Communicate Findings : Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
  • Develop Interventions : Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
  • Provide Therapy : Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
  • Monitor Progress : Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Support Team : Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
  • Your expertise will empower students to overcome challenges, improve communication skills, and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
