Design Engineer

Design Engineer

The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and developing tooling to facilitate assembly processes, including manual assembly, picking, pressing, crimping, guarding, torquing, and testing for new products. The role involves developing assembly fixtures and test stands, sourcing tools for process improvement and automation, and redesigning and enhancing existing products and processes. Design work will be conducted using Creo software.

Responsibilities :

• Create tooling to enable various assembly processes for new products.
• Develop assembly fixtures and test stands.
• Source tools for process improvement and automation.
• Redesign and enhance existing products and processes.
• Design 3D models of parts, assemblies, fixtures, and tooling using Creo.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
