We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Structural Plans Examiner to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. Youll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Primarily review structural plans for construction projects.

• Reviews plans and specifications for projects to ensure compliance with city State of CA and federal laws and regulations. Provide timely oral and / or written communication detailing design and / or construction deficiencies in plans and specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service
• Review building permits with regards to regulations set by the Building Divisions
• Assist inspectors with difficult or unusual code compliance issues and answer questions from inspectors about plan review comments.
• Cultivate foster and maintain positive working relationships with directors managers supervisors employees and other stakeholders to gain their cooperation and support on assigned projects / assignments.

Salary Range : $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
