Receptionist Position
We are looking for a receptionist to join our team in Olathe, Kansas. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support daily office functions while interacting professionally with visitors and staff. The ideal candidate will excel in managing administrative tasks, maintaining a welcoming reception area, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors with professionalism and direct them to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain and organize the reception area in accordance with office procedures.
- Notify relevant employees promptly upon visitor arrivals.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as sorting mail, preparing documents, and managing electronic filing systems.
- Coordinate conference room bookings, meeting schedules, and other arrangements for senior staff.
- Monitor office inventory and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Support the Finance Department with projects, including billing statement processing and storage scheduling.
- Prepare items for mailing or shipping, including packaging, labeling, and arranging pickups.
- Report building-related issues to the Facility Manager and assist in handling unexpected closures or outages.
- Oversee company-leased vehicle usage, including scheduling maintenance and tracking metrics.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented approach and courteous attitude.Valid driver's license and auto insurance.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and sit for extended periods.Previous experience managing multi-line phone systems or switchboards is preferred.
