Physical Therapy Technician - Full Time - Days

Job Posting

Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma / GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.

Required Licenses / Certifications

Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and / or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
