Manager Clinical Informatics

As a member of the Providence St. Joseph Health Clinical Informatics management team, the Manager, Regional Clinical Informatics is responsible in collaboration with the Directors and Medical Informatics for collaborative implementation, support, and on-going optimization of clinical informatics, Caring Reliably framework, IS strategy and other organizational commitments.

Please note the following important details regarding this position :

This is a hybrid role, involving a combination of in-office and remote work each week.

The weekly hybrid schedule will be determined by the manager based on departmental needs.

Candidates must reside within a commutable distance (75 miles) of the following office location :

Washington : Spokane

On-call flexibility is required to ensure operational continuity, provide leadership during critical situations, and support team members outside of standard business hours.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree and Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related healthcare field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience

6 or more years of experience in clinical practice, clinical informatics and management

4 or more years of experience in clinical or IT functional management in comparable organizations, including financial and supervisory accountability.

Demonstrated ability to manage and successfully execute strategic plans for highly complex issues

Ability to communicate with all levels and manage shifting priorities and accountable for deliverables

Preferred Qualification :

Master's Degree in Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or another related healthcare field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience

Upon hire : Certification in Informatics

Upon hire : Epic Certification in one or more applications

Upon hire : Informatics certifications or credentialing

3 or more years of experience in all areas of program and project management including multiple project integration and process / workflow redesign
