Our challenge

We are seeking a Discovery / SACM Architect with deep expertise in ServiceNow Discovery and SACM (Service Asset & Configuration Management) to assist in solution design and provide technical recommendations for business solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on knowledge of cloud discovery , CSDM / CDMB , and cloud infrastructure concepts to ensure accurate and scalable configuration management across the enterprise.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within “Charlotte” is $120K / year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions in the SACM / Discovery space using ServiceNow.
  • Provide technical recommendations to align business needs with best practices in Discovery and Configuration Management.
  • Implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery, with a strong focus on cloud discovery across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Ensure adherence to CSDM / CDMB frameworks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date configuration data.
  • Define and enforce standards, governance, and best practices for SACM and Discovery processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to support business initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot discovery issues and recommend enhancements for improved performance and accuracy.

Requirements :

  • Proven expertise in ServiceNow Discovery (on-prem and cloud).
  • Strong knowledge of CSDM / CDMB and SACM principles.
  • Extensive experience in cloud concepts, including infrastructure, hardware, and software discovery.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes (servers, networks, databases, applications).
  • Ability to design scalable, efficient solutions aligned with ITIL and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
