AI Software Engineer

We are seeking an AI Engineer role for a Contract Hire.

W2 resource only

Remote

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining AI-powered applications that help their business and customers extract valuable insights from unstructured data.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop scalable, serverless Python applications that leverage machine learning and natural language processing models to parse and analyze documents like contracts, invoices, and quotes

Integrate these AI-powered document processing capabilities with their Salesforce CRM system to streamline data entry and improve data quality.

Build conversational AI chatbots to automate common HR inquiries and provide self-service support for their employees.

Experiment with emerging AI tools and frameworks like LangFuse to improve the performance and reliability of their AI models

Work closely with their business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into innovative AI solutions

Mentor junior engineers and help grow their in-house AI development capabilities

Required Qualifications :

8+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in Python development

Proven track record of building production-ready, cloud-based applications, ideally on AWS

Hands-on experience with machine learning, natural language processing, and other AI / ML techniques

Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Adaptable and eager to learn, as the AI / ML landscape is constantly evolving.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working on document processing, data extraction, or conversational AI applications

Familiarity with Salesforce and integrating AI capabilities with CRM systems? Knowledge of software engineering best practices like CI / CD, testing, and observability

Exposure to no-code / low-code AI development platforms
