Software Development Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will :
- Develop Cloud native services
- Own the features you develop from engineering to supporting in production
- Follow software best practices, such as CI / CD and automated testing
Required Qualifications :
2+ years experience with backend development in Java-based technologies2+ years working in cloud-based technologies using frameworks like Spring, Springboot, Kafka, Redis3+ years hands on system design experience with mission critical applications2+ years experience with Azure, GCP or other public cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), SaaS application development / support, CI / CD practices, containerization, Kubernetes, and Agile / DevOps methodologies3+ years experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or equivalent product engineering collaboration toolsPreferred Qualifications :
Experience working in large scale applications, with large scale dataset & transaction volumeDemonstrated experience with building and driving adoption of software engineering best practicesStrong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architecturesStrong work ethic, self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environmentExperience working with distributed teams, working across multiple time zones and geographiesAbility to influence and inspire teams to align technical directionAbility to learn / work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud / IT technology spaceTechnology :
Java programming knowledge on latest JDK versions, Spring frameworkKnowledge of open-source packages especially those provided by Apache, Google, and SpringDatabase knowledge SQL, NoSQL, table structure, data relationshipsFamiliarity with leveraging AI co-pilots in support of SDLC.In-depth experience with building application programming interfaces (API) and frameworksExperience with API security, analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modificationsExperience with the Cloud Native Development practicesAnticipated Weekly Hours : 40

Pay Range :
The typical pay range for this role is : $79,310.00 - $158,620.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
