Position Summary

The Structural Analysis Stress Engineer will apply engineering and physical science principles to design, analyze, and evaluate aircraft structures for performance, manufacturability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on primary and secondary structures, payloads, and fuselage components, requiring proficiency in metallic design, CATIA, and ENOVIA. Candidates should have recent commercial aircraft structures experience within the last 10 years, including aerospace structures, product development, and new design work. Experience with commercial OEMs is preferred, and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of engineering and physical science principles, materials, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop, integrate, document and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs for performance, functional adequacy, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, weights, and lofting.
