Vapor Armour, Inc., has become the industry leader in the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of vapor barrier membrane. We are currently seeking individuals to join our team who are interested in becoming Vapor Barrier Installers.

JOB SUMMARY : Install Vapor Barrier Systems to thermal controlled facilities throughout the United States and Canada under direct supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Follow company schedule to ensure on time arrival to job site.
  • Fulfill all duties under the supervision and direction of the Lead.
  • Install Vapor Armour™ membrane according to company guidelines.
  • Accurately measure and cut materials to fit specific areas, ensuring a proper seal and protection against moisture.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or areas that require additional attention.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Able to travel and work away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time including weekends.
  • Able to work outside, sometimes in extreme weather conditions.
  • Able to work inside, sometimes in below 0 freezer temperatures.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend / twist repeatedly and stand for long periods of time.
  • Proficient in using hand tools as well as power tools.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail and work with precision.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Able to understand and follow directions.

  • Immediately start accruing .77 hours a week of paid time off for every 40 hours worked, with a maximum of 40 hours (one week) a year. After one year of employment will accrue 1.54 per week with a maximum of 80 hours a year. After five years of employment will accrue 2.31 hours a week, with a maximum of 120 hours.
