Computer Systems Analyst
SSI is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to join our team on a new Navy contract! Duties include providing superior customer service to internal and external clients by maintaining local and remote computer systems and ensuring all users are equipped with technology to support company goals. The role involves acting as a primary point of contact for incoming Helpdesk phone calls and emails, opening and updating support requests, triaging support requests, configuring and deploying workstations and laptops, providing client locations with onsite support as necessary, creating and maintaining accurate documentation, creating and removing new user and computer accounts, supporting various customer software and hardware, performing scheduled maintenance on desktops, laptops, and servers, scanning and maintaining machines for security purposes, providing technical assistance for common application and hardware issues, researching best practices for applications, maintaining confidential information, assisting the Advanced Services teams with deployments, installations, rollouts, and maintenance, escalating issues to Advanced Services and the Management team, and providing basic Video Tele-Conference support.
Requirements include education such as DoD8570 IAT Level II, a Secret clearance, 1-3 years' experience in Technical Support or equivalent experience, excellent team skills, thoroughness, excellent communications skills, written and verbal, initiative and results orientation, flexibility and tenacity, ability to adjust priorities, ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment, strong dedication to provide quality customer service, effective problem-solving skills, inherent decision-making ability, strong analytical skills, ability to manage own projects, and physical demands including standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
