Pharmacy Operations Coordinator

Our national non-profit healthcare client is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Pharmacy Operations Coordinator to support quality initiatives and ensure smooth pharmacy program operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities while fostering collaboration across teams. This role calls for problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to improving member health outcomes.

This role is fully remote working Monday-Friday.

Pharmacy Operations Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Support pharmacy quality initiatives aimed at improving outcomes, reducing errors, and promoting wellness.
  • Coordinate daily operations, including claim rejection reviews, transition monitoring, and provider communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information.
  • Address and resolve escalated member, pharmacy, and provider inquiries in partnership with pharmacy benefits manager vendors.
  • Assist clinical pharmacy staff and educate other departments on pharmacy processes.

Pharmacy Operations Coordinator Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of professional experience, including prior pharmacy experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for both member and provider interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with solid organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while meeting deadlines.
