American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active Washington state licensure to perform advanced imaging procedures.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Acute care setting in a trauma level 3 environmentComputed Tomography unit equipped with 4 scanners : 2 in outpatient CT, 1 in ER, 1 in CCUStaff rotate coverage for ER and CCU scannersTypical workload is approximately 20 scans per tech per day in Seattle, and 14 scans per tech per day if assigned to BellevueCommon exams include all basic and advanced CT procedures such as pelvis colonography, coronary scans, TAVR planning, with frequent chest, abdomen, and pelvis studiesGE CT scanners are used in the departmentCerner EMR, GE Centricity, and Philips PACS are utilizedScheduled 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8 : 00 AM – 6 : 30 PMMay be required to float to Bellevue (approximately 16 minutes away) depending on facility needsNo call requirement for travelersWeekend and holiday coverage scheduled based on rotation, as CT operates 24 / 7Duties include performing all CT exams, including advanced and specialty scans, in both hospital and outpatient settingsOrientation includes facility-specific modules and working with a team member during the first weekStaff work alongside in-house radiologists, lead techs, and an imaging managerTeam structure involves 2–3 technologists covering the two outpatient scanners and 1–2 covering ER and CCU scannersScrub color is typically navy, gray, or a mix, in alignment with department dress codeMust maintain flexibility to float to other locations within facility network based on operational needs\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT TechnologistActive Washington state Radiologic Technologist license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredExperience operating GE CT scannersExperience with Cerner EMR, GE Centricity, and Philips PACS preferredMust be able to start IVs as part of clinical dutiesRad Badge must be obtained prior to assignment startCopy of driver’s license required for considerationTwo professional references : one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility\n Benefits\n
