Momentum is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to play a key leadership role in supporting our licensed nursing staff. Working closely with Regional Directors and Administrators, the Assistant Nurse Manager will help oversee clinical operations, guide and support nursing teams, and ensure compliance with organizational and licensing standards. This position is essential in shaping clinical excellence through strategic planning, professional development, ongoing training, and education initiatives.

Assistant Nurse Manager Responsibilities :
Collaborates with Regional Directors and Administrators to provide clinical support to licensed staffTrains and onboards new nursing staff in all aspects of clinical oversightDelivers ongoing education and training sessions for nursing staffImplements new clinical procedures and ensures nurses are trained on related policies and protocolsDevelops, coordinates, updates, and evaluates programs to meet regulatory, organizational, departmental, and discipline-specific requirementsDesigns, coordinates, and evaluates continuing professional education activities for nursing staffRecommends cost-effective strategies while maintaining quality care; works within established budget parametersActs as a subject matter expert and resource for staff and departments in achieving educational, clinical, quality, and cost-related goals and performance outcomesCollaborates with Administrators to oversee LVN-led medical record reviews, ensuring current and accurate medical documentationCoordinates with the Medical Records Consultant to maintain organized and compliant recordsActively participates on the Admission / Discharge Committee and the Human Rights CommitteeOversees LVNs in their collaboration with the Pharmacy Consultant to develop procedures and conduct medication reviewsCompletes a minimum of one course per year from the DONA website as approved by Director of Health ServicesAssistant Nurse Manager Qualifications :
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California; requiredOne (1) year of clinical experience as an RN; requiredTwo (2) years of experience in education, teaching, or in-service; requiredPrevious experience in a supervisory or management role; requiredPrevious experience in the care and treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities; highly preferredCurrent and valid CA driver licenses; requiredAdditional Requirements :
