Job Overview
The Technician Laboratory tests and monitors finished beverage products and water treatment to ensure results are in accordance with company quality assurance specifications and regulatory requirements. The Technician Laboratory calibrates lab instruments and inputs data per record of results.
Duties & Responsibilities
Performs tests to ensure product and package quality of finished beverage products are within company quality specifications and regulatory requirementsMaintains and calibrates lab equipment to ensure measurement accuracyMaintains testing and calibration records and results through data entry into the Lab Data Management System (LDMS)Performs water treatment quality tests following company quality specifications and regulatory requirementsCreates quality holds on finished beverage products for containment and investigation when quality tests do not meet specificationsKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to standard operating proceduresUnderstanding of a laboratory environment and laboratory practices preferredBasic microbial knowledge and aseptic techniquesBasic computer skills including Microsoft Excel experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with seasonal temperatures, flexible shifts, and weekend and holiday work based on business needs unless specified otherwise by a CBAAbility to stand for extended periods of time, walk manufacturing floor, climb stairs, and lift up to 25lbs.Minimum Qualifications
