The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through nursing process of assessment, planning,

implementation, and evaluation. The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs home care services and is experienced in

nursing, with emphasis on community health education / experience. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the

community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities.

Job duties of this rewarding position include :

• Directly supervises Home Health Aides and LPN's. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance

with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

scheduling, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and

resolving problems. Performs supervisory visits with Home Health clients and conducts and authorizes in-services.
