About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Financial Accounting Systems and Data Governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the establishment and oversight of a comprehensive program to ensure the integrity, quality, security, and compliance of financial systems and data assets. This role involves defining governance standards, driving systems and data stewardship, and serving as a key liaison between business and technical teams to promote a data-driven culture. Key responsibilities include developing a roadmap for financial accounting systems and data governance, defining governance structures, and leading continuous improvement efforts in data and system quality. The VP will also be tasked with overseeing security and compliance, implementing processes for data management, and developing data modeling tools for accounting. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive systems leadership experience, with at least 7 years' in accounting or finance, and a CPA license. The role requires a strong background in SOX / internal controls, U.S. GAAP, and global financial operations, as well as a proven track record in building financial systems transformation and data governance programs. Expertise in process automation, systems standardization, and data quality improvement is essential, as is hands-on experience with ERP implementations or upgrades. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management tools is also necessary.
