The Intensive Behavior Center (IBC) is an intensive, short-term treatment facility for individuals who have intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental illnesses. IBC provides an environment for building healthy, effective, and fulfilling lives so those receiving treatment can live successfully in the community after discharge.
The Quality and Information Specialist participates as a member of the Quality management team and oversees Therap Services (web-based record keeping system) and its software suite, which includes online documentation, reporting, and communication including modules (progress notes, incident reports, Medication Administration Records (MAR), utilization reports, etc.,). This position’s responsibilities include quality assurance of online documentation, researching, developing, and implementing new Therap modules; and presenting training to staff including documentation, database, and software training. This position also assists the Quality Assurance Director with ensuring conformance to regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and facility policy.
