Our soon-to-be licensed Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Louisiana, is seeking a Fractional Medical Director to join our leadership team. We will be providing primary mental health and substance use disorder treatment, serving adult populations.
Position Details
- Commitment : ~5 hours per week
- Format : Virtual or hybrid
- Status : Part-time independent contractor
- Compensation : Monthly flat fee
Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medical historiesProvide medication management in coordination with the clinical treatment teamParticipate in case reviews and contribute to individualized treatment planningEnsure compliance with state regulations and clinical best practicesQualifications

Requirements
Active, unrestricted license as an MD or DO Psychiatrist, or PMHNP in LouisianaBoard certification in Psychiatry (or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification)Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in psychiatric care, preferably in PHP / IOP or SUD treatment settingsDEA registration in good standingStrong knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric practices for mental health and substance use disordersAbility to conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication managementProficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platformsStrong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teamsUnderstanding of Louisiana regulatory requirements for behavioral health programsAbility to commit approximately 5 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional meetings or urgent consultationsBenefits
