Working with the Senior Database Administrator, provides on-site support for databases and systems, focusing on data entry, maintenance, and operational support. They may also assist with tasks like installing software, managing security access, and following established processes. Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Gibsons Restaurant Group’s philosophy, which is based upon four distinct core beliefs : Hospitality, Quality, Value and Family.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Data Entry and Quality Control : Ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining data quality.
• Monitoring and Maintenance : Tracking database performance, capacity, and system health.
• Security Administration : Maintaining and administering database security access, including user accounts and permissions.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnosing and resolving basic database-related issues, including connectivity problems and data inconsistencies.
• Documentation : Maintaining database documentation and following established procedures.
• Performance Optimization : Assisting with efforts to improve database performance and efficiency.
• Reporting : Creating and maintaining reports to support decision-making.

Skills Required :

Education and Experience Required :

2+ years of experience in multi-location POS, inventory and scheduling software preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Restaurant and related systems experience a plus (POS, Scheduling etc.).
