Pay Range : $24.00 $26.00 per hour

Based on experience and driving qualifications)

Schedule : Full-Time | Monday Friday | 7 : 30 AM 4 : 00 PM (s ome overtime available)

Location : Clackamas, OR (local routes within Oregon and Washington, home every night)

Description

We are hiring a Local Flatbed Driver to support daily transportation and shipping operations for a Portland-based manufacturing company. This is a non-CDL driving position operating a 26,000 lb flatbed truck. The ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, and enjoys a steady, full-time schedule with the benefit of being home each evening.

In this hybrid role, youll also assist in the Shipping Department when not on the road. Forklift experience is a plustraining is available if needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 26,000 lb flatbed truck to deliver goods across local and regional routes in Oregon and Washington
  • Load and unload materials using proper equipment and safety practices
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
  • Assist with shipping / receiving tasks when not driving, including staging and organizing outbound loads
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
  • Operate a forklift or pallet jack (training available if not certified)
  • Follow all DOT safety protocols and company delivery procedures
  • Complete basic logs and delivery documentation as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience driving medium-duty trucks preferred (26,000 lb or similar)
  • No CDL required
  • Current drivers license and clean driving record required
  • Must be able to obtain or possess a valid Medical DOT Card (company will provide if needed)
  • Basic knowledge of local geography in Portland, Oregon, and Southwest Washington
  • Forklift experience is a plus (but not requiredtraining available)
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work as needed
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist the warehouse team
