Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant in our urology clinic, you will play a crucial role in supporting our urologists and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain valuable experience and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepping and sterilizing exam rooms
  • Stocking supplies and equipment
  • Rooming patients and gathering vitals
  • Updating patient files into EMR software
  • Supporting provider during patient visits and procedures
  • Administering diagnostic tests and physician approved procedures
  • Answering phones and making calls to follow up with patients and their families
  • Complete other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant degree or Current CNA credentials
  • 6+ Months of recent Medical Assisting or CNA experience
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Familiarity with patient vitals and injections
  • Current BLS license
  • Prior EMR / EHR software experience
  • Up to date on required immunizations / vaccinations (Influenza / COVID / HepB)
  • Ability to obtain Medical Assisting credentials after 1-year
  • Schedule : Monday - Friday (8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM) per patient appointments

    Compensation : $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly (based on CNA / MA experience)
