Maintenance Manager

Wyman-Gordon located in Worcester MA provides Isothermal Forgings for military and commercial turbine applications using nickel based and titanium alloys. Full Heat Treating Machining and Testing on site. This growing $200 million profit center is part of a highly successful multi-billion $ (NYSE) diversified manufacturer. Precision Castparts Corporation (PCP).

POSITION TITLE : Maintenance Manager

PURPOSE :

This position involves a wide variety of job conditions and off-hour responsibility for plant facilities which are unique to the Maintenance function. The Maintenance Manager directs the Maintenance departments to prepare and fulfill repair construction and preventive maintenance schedules which maximize the availability of production equipment and facilities throughout the plant and office areas. Strategic planning shutdown preparation and facilities upkeep are key roles to insure continued success.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Position requires excellent communication with all levels of the organization
• Manage budget schedule subcontractors and internal personnel on projects
• A thorough and detailed understanding of plant equipment and processes.
• Ability to successfully navigate instruct and engage a union workforce
• Maximize availability of tools and equipment in the plants through prompt and reliable maintenance.
• Develops safe and well-maintained departmental areas.
• Initiates operating improvements through innovative maintenance techniques.
• Manages updates and controls the preventative maintenance program on the plant and equipment.
• Contributes to the Company current and long-range budgetary equipment rehabilitation programs consistent with Company objectives.
• Effectively interprets and administers the Company and bargaining unit document consistent with good management procedures.

REQUIREMENTS :

US Citizenship or Perm Residency is required due to government military contracts .

For informational purposes only the range of pay for this role is $110000 to $145000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only this role is eligible to participate in the Companys Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Companys bonus multiple based on the Companys performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 11 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the companys medical dental vision and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Companys 401(k) plan.
