Travel Rad Tech – CT | Syracuse, NY

Start Date : 9 / 8

Shift : Evenings, 5x8s (3 : 00 pm – 11 : 30 pm) with rotational weekends and holidays

Duration : 13 weeks

Preferred Experience : Siemens CT scanners

Qualifications :

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

NYS license / registration required

Minimum 1 year CT / MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist

Scope of Role :

Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists

Greet patients, explain procedures, and position patients for imaging

Set proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality radiographs

Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize patient exposure

Operate imaging equipment efficiently, report malfunctions to supervisor

Process images and enter information into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing

Follow department procedures and protocol as defined in the Policy and Procedure Manual

Provide radiologic examinations according to referring physician and radiologist orders
