Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a long-term contract position offering a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote and in-office days. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting systems and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities :

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Exflow software to handle payments and invoices.
• Perform wire transfers and assist with banking-related tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the AP Manager to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial operations.
• Review invoices for proper coding, authorization, and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain organized records of transactions and vendor communications.
• Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Assist with other accounting functions as required, including billing and accounts receivable.
• Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and related accounting functions.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems such as Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Exflow.
• Knowledge of wire transfers and banking processes is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial tools, including ADP and Concur.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
• Experience in auditing and maintaining financial records.
